Marjani Beauty Featured in the Washingtonian
Posted on 25 October 2018
Marjani Beauty was featured in the article, "A Sephora-Like Beauty Hub for Women of Color is Coming to Dupont Circle," by the Washingtonian. The article focused on the upcoming launch of our brick and mortar store in December of 2018. We discussed the needs of Black and Brown women in the beauty industry and how we plan to break the mold of beautiful by filling a void.
Our new space will feature the current brown girl approved cosmetics that you currently see in our online space such as AJ Crimson Beauty, Hue Noir, Liquid Courage Cosmetics and Danessa Myricks. We also plan to continue bringing you products that are for us and by us to the store for customers to try and buy. As new brands emerge, our mission is to bring you the beauty industry needs for women of color!
To learn more about our upcoming retail space, please take a read of the article in the Washingtonian. We know you'll love our plans for the upcoming space. Also, join our newsletter at MarjaniBeauty.com to receive special news and an invite to our grand opening in December 2018! We can't wait to see you there!
Thank you so much to the Washingtonian for featuring Marjani Beauty and our new space at the Brown Beauty Co-Op.
