Butter Jelly (Medium Hold)
Finger Coil Away!
This Medium Hold Jelly will give you the definition your curls need when styling, while still maintaining your hair's moisture levels. Curly and Kinky Coily hair types can benefit from its curl defining formula, however this styling Jelly may be better suited with those with thicker hair types. This jelly is packed with lots of "good stuff" for your hair like Shea Butter, Rose Water and not to mention, it's water based of course (the best kind of moisturizer)!
Curly and Kinky Coily Hair Types
Rake and smooth throughout hair after your leave-in moisturizing step. Once evenly worked through hair you may finger coil, scrunch or style as desired. Best to let your hair air dry, but help of a diffuser may speed up the process. For thicker or drier hair types, follow up with a sealant to seal in the moisture.

Co-founders Natasha Sheppard and Rowan McAnoy had similar relationships with their hair growing up: The attempt to tame their curls with a combination of chemical relaxers and straightening tools left them with very little knowledge of how to care for their hair in its natural curly state, and even less hair health to begin with. After her big chop (cutting off all her relaxed ends), Natasha started experimenting with ingredients, and conducting research through different blogs and forums before finally launching Curlshoppe to satisfy what she saw as a gap in the market for quality and affordable haircare for curly-haired folks. The line now carries everything from conditioners to beard oils, and Sheppard and McAnoy pride themselves on having products that cater to every curl type. Their Coconut is Everything collection features a mix of both lightweight creams and stylers that are great for type 3 hair, while their Butter’d Up collection was specifically engineered with thicker, kinkier hair in mind.
When it comes to hair, instead of hair-length, health and self-love are the main focus at CurlShoppe. The health of hair helps it look good, and feel good. Those positive feelings of self-love reflect on you as a person. The team understands how long it can take to maintain and grow out curly hair and has been there along the way for clients who’ve done The Big Chop, freeing themselves from chemically suppressed curls. Hair does not define you, but it is a big part of how you present yourself, and CurlShoppe wants people to feel like their curls are their crown!
This styling Jelly is still a light weight formula so it will define your curls without weighing them down.
At first your curls might have a slight crunch to them, but scrunching (once dry) will remove the hard cast. You can also scrunch in a little bit of oil to your hair to remove the cast that's causing that "crunch" feeling.
Finger coil away - this Jelly will hold your coils, but not too much so you can still seperate them.
